The MacDonald Research Institute (TMRI) was founded by Dr. George MacDonald in 2018 and is an expansion of more than ten years of research activity at the University of South Florida. For a fuller picture please review resume. TMRI provides national high-quality research (i.e., National Sciences Foundation), impact evaluations, certification examinations (i.e., Agency for Health Care Administration and Florida Department of Elder Affairs) and survey development to national, state, and local agencies. TMRI is the only company that conducts non-linear diagnostic modeling that includes Praxis, concepts/beliefs, and alter-influenced activity with a regression analytics. TMRI’s modeling approach, an extension of Cognitive Diagnostic Modeling, is known as Integrated Diagnostic Modeling. TMRI conducts Assisted Living Facilities and the Statewide Public Guardianship core competency assessments for the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration and the Department of Elder Affairs. These assessments are based on Florida’s rules and statutes, grounded within valid core competencies, guided by reliable concepts as measured by carefully written items.
